Jonathan Cabrera

Jonathan has been dancing for over 19 years, and specializes in Salsa. He has participated in many shows and competitions and has won 1st place 6 times. As a result of his vast experience and in depth knowledge of Latin music and dance, Jonathan is able to teach the dance in a systematic way beginning with the basics. He offers a solid foundation to any level of dancer through an understanding of theory of dance. Jonathan has studied with eminent teachers such as Vitico La Majia, Marino La Rumba, DanceSport, Victor Karisma, Eddie Torres, Claudine Curry (Mambo2chacha), Nydia Ocasio and has taken private instruction from Maria Alcantara, Melissa Rosado and Yesenia Selier. His winning competition routines were coached by Jami Josephson. Additionally, Jonathan has studied music with Palomba Music Academy under Bobby Rodriguez (Y la compania), Charlie Salinas and Joe Torres "El Profesor" and was privately tutored by Eddie Martinez (Y Su Orq Privilegio).
